Well, here is another question about paranormal TV. A&E is touting their new brain child Paranormal State as their highest rated show.
I have watched and I have heard many in the Paranormal Community comment on the show. However, what I have heard from the people who are actually in the paranormal community does not reflect the same view as A&E??? Well, that is the nicest way I can put it.

I have heard they are only in it for the money. I have not seen any evidence that they are doing real research. Mostly the focus is on demons. How many "ghost hunters" actually encounter them? I haven't been doing this very long, but I know (and have met) investigators who have done this for more then a decade (or more!) and have never encountered a "demon".
